Students can choose one of four areas of business expertise: Business Administration (creating and evaluating innovative ideas and strategising for unpredictable business environments), Digital Finance (blockchain technologies, digital currency, management strategies, market design, and governance and regulation), Energy Transition (oil, gas and energy management and adapting business strategies to energy sector changes), and Leadership (philosophy and ethics of leadership and current and future leadership challenges).
Applicants require a relevant undergraduate degree from a recognised tertiary institution and at least three (3) years of relevant work experience, or alternatively a relevant Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma with a Course Weighted Average of 65% and three (3) years of relevant work experience. Prospective students with 2 years of relevant work experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis. An IELTS overall band score of 6.5 (with no individual band less than 6.0) is required. Entry is competitive and all applicants must undertake an interview as the final stage of assessment.
The 2026 domestic indicative first-year fee is $50,093, based on a first-year full-time study load of 250 credit points. Fees are indicative only and may vary depending on the units chosen. This indicative fee does not include other fees like administrative and incidental fees or the cost of textbooks. Domestic fee-paying students may be eligible for FEE-HELP assistance.
As an advanced course, this MBA program requires students to work on a practical project in a workplace setting. Students liaise with an industry partner to apply key business theories, concepts and techniques to solve a real-world challenge and develop real skills in business design, report writing, written communication and critical thinking. Students are also connected with an industry network support partner to facilitate business networks in Australia and can attend numerous networking events, including six-weekly MBA Engage events featuring expert industry and academic speakers.
