The ICMS MBA (Business Analytics) comprises 14 subjects in total (64 credit points), consisting of 10 core subjects, 2 Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Professional Placement subjects, and 2 specialisation subjects.

Yes, as an ICMS MBA (Business Analytics) student you will have the opportunity to complete an Action Learning Project and a Professional Placement in an Australian or international business within your two Work Integrated Learning (WIL) subjects, which are included within the degree. Professional placements are arranged by the dedicated ICMS WIL team who will work with you to secure an individually tailored internship role.

The MBA (Business Analytics) is designed with four cross-cutting themes embedded across all subjects: Personalised Leadership Development, Global Mindset, Ethics, Responsibility & Sustainability (ERS), and Future Orientation and Strategic Transformation.

Upon successful completion of the ICMS MBA (Business Analytics) you will be able to: make decisions to enhance business performance by drawing on integrated knowledge of core business and business analytics disciplines with critical ethical judgement; synthesise information and data to generate evidence-based and sustainable strategic options; effectively communicate using a range of media; critically evaluate contextual factors, trends, technology and opportunities; formulate responsible and sustainable business practices using analytics techniques; exhibit self-awareness and critical reflection as a leader; integrate specialised practical business analytics knowledge through applied business research; and develop transformative business strategies using business analytics.

In accordance with the Australian Government ESOS National Code, international students on a Student Visa can only undertake 33% of their total enrolment load online. They must be enrolled in at least one on-campus subject in each compulsory study period.
