Finance for Corporate Managers
Explores concepts and principles of business finance including understanding financial statements, time value of money, risk and return, capital budgeting and working capital to provide a foundational understanding of financial management and decision-making in business.
Communication and Negotiations
Enables students to communicate more effectively, identify negotiation opportunities, address conflicts and gain an understanding of the unique challenges that exist when individuals, groups and organisations face potential or existing conflict through exploration of negotiation strategies, tactics and models for securing cooperation.
Organisational Context and Roles in Project Management
Students learn the internal and external organisational context in which projects are formed, executed, supported and evaluated. Covers stakeholder engagement and the impact of organisational context on defining roles, responsibilities and collaboration required by a project team.
People, Culture and Agile Leadership
Develops understanding of the influence culture, politics and power have on the behaviour of others in an organisational context. Introduces agile leadership and includes the opportunity to undertake the Clifton Strengths Finder Assessment.
Business Law
Explores the role of law and the legal implications of participating in global business, including contract law, intellectual property, agency law, employment law and industrial relations, business structures and conflict law in an international context.
Data Visualisation & Business Reporting

Big Data & Visualisation

International Business Strategy

Strategic Marketing Management

Enterprise Risk Management

Corporate Governance, Ethics and Sustainability

Customer & Digital Marketing Analytics
Enables students to apply different analytical models to explore real-world marketing challenges including targeted list creation, data segmentation, testing campaign effectiveness, pricing structures and forecasting demand using statistics, consumer analytics and modelling.
Real World Business Analytics
Introduces optimisation and multivariate data aggregation as core concepts. Students develop skills to make effective decisions through mathematical methods in optimisation and learn multivariate functions to analyse, describe and interpret datasets.
Practical Industry Projects - PIP
In partnership with Practera, integrates classroom knowledge into a practical experience solving real-world business challenges for industry clients. Students work in groups of up to six, guided by a client mentor and lecturer. Pre-requisites: Students must firstly complete MBA4007 and MBA4008. Graduates receive certification and a digital badge.
Practical Industry Projects - PIP
Continuation of the Practical Industry Projects capstone. Pre-requisite: Students must firstly complete MBA5015a.

The total course tuition fee over 2 years is $40,800 (2024 fee) or $42,880 (2026 fee). The fee per annum is $20,400 (2024) or $21,440 (2026), and the fee per unit is $2,550 (2024) or $2,680 (2026). All fees are in Australian dollars and are subject to change without notice. Course fees are to be paid in full before enrolment or selection of subjects in any given semester.
To complete the degree, students must pass 16 units worth 160 credit points, delivered over two years. These consist of 10 core units, 5 specialisation units, and 1 project-based unit. There are two nested exit awards: the Graduate Certificate of Business Administration (after 6 months full-time) and the Graduate Diploma of Business Administration (Business Analytics) (after 1 year full-time).
The course has intakes in February, March, May, June, August, September, October, and November each year. A specific upcoming intake is Semester 1, Block 4 starting 1 June 2026, with orientation on 27 May 2026 and a census date of 8 June 2026.
Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree (AQF Level 7) or equivalent. Students without assumed knowledge in mathematical or quantitative skills will need to complete MBA4000 Statistics for Professionals in the first Block of the course at their own cost. Both domestic and international students are accepted. Specific English language proficiency score requirements are available via the Entry Requirements link on the course page.
Graduates can pursue roles as Business Analyst, Business Consultant, Business Manager, and Operations Manager. The course prepares graduates to meet the growing demand for data-savvy leaders. Additionally, completion of the MBA (Business Analytics) meets the academic requirement for admission to Doctorate courses in Australia and overseas, subject to individual institution and course-specific requirements.
The PIP capstone (MBA5015a and MBA5015b) is delivered in partnership with Practera and allows students to gain hands-on experience solving real-world business challenges for industry clients. Students work in groups of up to six, guided by both a client mentor and a lecturer, building industry relationships and networks. Upon completion, students receive certification and a digital badge for their CV and LinkedIn profile. To enrol in MBA5015a, students must first complete MBA4007 and MBA4008, and MBA5015b requires completion of MBA5015a.
