Finance for Corporate Managers
Explores concepts and principles of business finance including understanding financial statements, time value of money, risk and return, capital budgeting and working capital to provide a foundational understanding of financial management and decision-making in business.
Communication and Negotiations
Enables students to communicate more effectively, identify negotiation opportunities, address conflicts and gain an understanding of the unique challenges that exist when individuals, groups and organisations face potential or existing conflict through exploration of negotiation strategies, tactics and models.
Organisational Context and Roles in Project Management
Students learn the internal and external organisational context in which projects are formed, executed, supported and evaluated, including stakeholder engagement and the impact of organisational context on defining roles, responsibilities and collaboration required for successful project delivery.

Practical Industry Projects - PIP
In partnership with Practera, integrates classroom knowledge into a practical experience solving real-world business challenges for industry clients, working in groups of up to six guided by a client mentor and lecturer. Prerequisites: MBA4007 and MBA4008 must be completed first.

The Master of Business Administration (Business Analytics) has intakes in February, March, May, June, August, September, October, and November each year. For example, 2026 Semester 1 Block 4 starts on 1 June 2026, with orientation on 27 May 2026 and a census date of 8 June 2026.
To complete the degree, students must pass 16 units totalling 160 credit points, delivered over two years. There are 10 core units, 5 specialisation units, and 1 project-based unit. Units are divided into Level 4000 (AQF 8) and Level 5000 (AQF 9). There are two nested exit awards: the Graduate Certificate of Business Administration (after 6 months full-time) and the Graduate Diploma of Business Administration (Business Analytics) (after 1 year full-time).
Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree (AQF Level 7) or equivalent. Students without assumed knowledge in mathematical or quantitative skills will need to complete MBA4000 Statistics for Professionals in the first Block of the course at their own cost. Both domestic and international students are eligible to apply. International students applying for a 500 Student Visa must also complete a Genuine Student (GS) Assessment Form.
Graduates are prepared for careers as Business Analyst, Business Consultant, Business Manager, or Operations Manager across industries. The course equips graduates to create effective organisational strategies, examine local and global business trends, apply critical thinking and strategic planning, and leverage business analytics tools. Completion of the MBA (Business Analytics) also meets the academic requirement for admission to Doctorate courses within Australia and overseas, subject to additional institution/course-specific requirements.
The course is offered at AIH's Sydney campus (Level 3 & 4, 545 Kent Street, NSW 2000) and Melbourne campus (Level 1, 20 Queen Street, VIC 3000). It is delivered full-time on-campus, with 8 hours of classes per week.
