Entry Requirements
- 1 year full-time (8 credit points — with 8 credit points of admission credit applied): completion of a bachelor degree (honours) (AQF 8) in a related discipline, with a minimum weighted average mark of 65; OR completion of a bachelor degree in a related discipline, with a minimum weighted average mark of 65, and at least 2 years' of relevant work experience (or part-time equivalent); OR completion of a graduate certificate or graduate diploma or higher in a related discipline.
- 1.5 years full-time (12 credit points — with 4 credit points of admission credit applied): completion of a bachelor degree or higher in a related discipline, with a minimum weighted average mark of 65; OR completion of a bachelor degree or higher in any discipline, with a minimum weighted average mark of 65 and at least 2 years' of relevant work experience (or part-time equivalent).
- 2 years full-time (16 credit points — without admission credit): completion of a bachelor degree or higher in any discipline with a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) (or equivalent average grade indicator) of 65.
- Examples of a related discipline include, but are not limited to: a bachelor degree in commerce or business in which students have completed studies explicitly in areas covering financial, people, market and economics.
- Examples of relevant work experience include, but are not limited to: business experience either in a broad commerce role or in a managerial position with business oversight responsibilities in any field.
- English language proficiency: bachelor degree from a recognised English-speaking country; OR IELTS overall score of 6.5 (with no band score less than 6.0) or equivalent; OR other evidence of English language proficiency.
- Recognition of prior learning (RPL) will still be considered on a case-by-case basis.

How long does the MBA (International) take to complete, and can I fast-track it?
The duration depends on your previous qualifications and professional experience. The full course is 2 years full-time (16 credit points), but it can be reduced to 1.5 years (12 credit points) or even 1 year (8 credit points) if you are eligible for admission credit based on your prior study or relevant work experience.
What work-integrated learning opportunities are available in this course?
The course provides a business internship experience and opportunities to participate in a global, in-person and virtual work-integrated learning (WIL) project, where you will work on business challenges in other countries. Students choose one WIL elective from: Business for Social Impact (MWL705), Consultancy Experience (MWL716), Entrepreneurship Experience (MWL717), Internship (MWL718), or International Consultancy Experience (MWL719).
Where can I study the MBA (International) and when can I start?
The course is available at Burwood (Melbourne) campus and Online. There are three intake periods: Trimester 1 starting in March, Trimester 2 starting in July, and Trimester 3 starting in November — all available at both Burwood (Melbourne) and Online.
