About This Course

The combined Master of Business Analytics and Master of Human Resource Management responds to the growing role of people analytics by developing integrated analytical and human resource management capability. Studying these master's together equips you with the skills to analyse workforce trends, forecast talent needs and support evidence‑based HR decisions. You develop capability across the full analytics lifecycle, from managing data and creating dashboards to applying descriptive, predictive and prescriptive techniques that help you understand past performance, anticipate future trends and determine effective actions. Practical learning with widely used analytics tools supports your ability to turn workforce information into insights that guide informed decision‑making. Alongside this analytical development, you will build strong expertise in recruitment, performance management, learning and development, workplace health and safety and employment law. This combined skill set prepares you to design sustainable people strategies, influence culture and talent outcomes, and contribute confidently to complex organisational environments. By completing this double master’s program, students will earn two master’s degrees in two years and build expertise in two in-demand areas of business. General Requirements

Domestic Students

A recognised bachelor’s degree in any discipline with an equivalent average mark of 50%. OR A Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in any discipline with an equivalent average mark of 50%. OR A recognised master's degree in any discipline with an equivalent average mark of 50%. Other tertiary qualifications, combined with extensive professional work experience, may also be considered.

Work and life experience:

Admission to UOW is primarily based on your academic qualifications, with work or life experience generally not considered. If you do not meet the academic requirements for this course, we recommend exploring recognised pathway programs, such as those offered by UOW College or the TAFE Tertiary Preparation Certificate (TPC).

UOW recognises a range of overseas higher education qualifications. Your qualifications will be assessed for equivalence to Australian qualifications and the admission requirements for this course. Accepted international test results include IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, Cambridge, and OET for specific health-related courses.
