If you're a domestic student enrolled in a Higher Degree by Research program, you won't be required to pay tuition fees. The Australian Government provides domestic students with tuition fee offsets under the Research Training Program (RTP) for up to 2 years full-time (or equivalent) for Master by Research courses. Note that the RTP covers your tuition fees only, and you will still be required to pay all other non-tuition fees applicable to your course, such as the Student Services and Amenities Fee.
The estimated 1st year indicative fee for international students is AUD $47,550. This is provided as a guide only and has been calculated based on a typical enrolment of students undertaking the first year of this course. At ECU, you pay for each individual unit you enrol in, not an overall course fee, so the total cost of your course will vary depending on what units you choose.
The course learning outcomes include: reflecting critically on a complex body of global knowledge, research principles and methods to demonstrate mastery in a field of business; applying cognitive, technical and creative skills to research activities; initiating, creating, planning and executing a substantial piece of business research in collaboration with a supervision team; interpreting and communicating complex information, concepts, theories and ideas to specialist and non-specialist audiences; and justifying research aims, methodologies and results, considering the ethical and social consequences.
Students interested in completing doctoral research in Accounting, Economics, Event Management, Finance, Hospitality Management, Leisure Science, Management, Marketing, Management Information Systems, Planning, Recreation Management, Sport Management or Tourism Management should consider the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
