Data Analytics has become one of the highest growth areas of academic and commercial practice. With applications in nearly all aspects of quantitative endeavours and information management, a skillset in analytics, statistical and machine learning is highly valued and sought after. The Master of Business Data Analytics (Professional) provides a platform to directly interface with industry leaders and develop both technical and organisational expertise. Requirements

Successful completion of a recognised Bachelor degree (or equivalent qualification) in any field.
English language proficiency: IELTS Academic overall score 6.5 with no sub-score less than 6.0; OR PTE Academic overall score 58 with no Communicative Scores below 50; OR TOEFL iBT overall score 79 (no scores below 21 in Writing, 18 in Speaking, and 16 in Reading and Listening).
Alternatively, applicants may demonstrate English language proficiency through prior study in English or other qualifications.
Work experience may be used to apply for entry: documentation of employment history including a statement from your employer about your position, time in the role, and a brief overview of the role performed.

Is this program available to domestic students?

No, the Master of Business Data Analytics (Professional) is only available to international students. Domestic students should refer to the Master of Business Data Analytics program instead.

What is the Professional Portfolio component included in this program?

In the final semester (Semester 5), students complete a 20-week Professional Portfolio subject, which is a Work Integrated Learning component designed to support learning, personal development, and professional practice. Students submit a final professional portfolio that highlights their practical and theoretical expertise in their profession of choice, and this component can include an internship. It is undertaken following the completion of all coursework subjects.

What facilities and resources will I have access to as a student in this program?

As a Bond Business School student, you will have exclusive access to facilities including the Bond FinTech Hub, which features 40 Bloomberg Terminals — the most of any Australian university. You will also have access to the Centre for Data Analytics and be mentored by Australia's leading economists, financial specialists, and statisticians.

Can I earn any industry certifications while completing this degree?

Yes, students have the opportunity to earn an internationally recognised Bloomberg certification during their degree through access to the Bond FinTech Hub and its Bloomberg Terminals. This certification may lead to more opportunities in the global market.

Is this program still accepting new students?

This program has been discontinued, with January 2025 being the final intake of students. Prospective students are encouraged to refer to the new Master of Data Analytics (Professional) program on offer at Bond University.
