Yes, the course includes a 600-hour internship. Internships are integral to the degree, giving students the opportunity to explore career options, gain valuable on-the-job experience and build professional networks. Internships may be undertaken within Australia or internationally, in any sector of tourism and hospitality.
Students may be eligible to exit with the Graduate Diploma of Business in Global Hotel Leadership after completing the equivalent of 8 units (96 credit points), or with the Graduate Certificate of Business in Global Hotel Leadership after completing the equivalent of 4 units (48 credit points).
For international students, the annual tuition fee is $26,000 (at $3,250 per unit), based on completing 8 units per year. Tuition fees are in Australian dollars and are subject to change, including annual increases over the duration of the course. Students are also required to pay OSHC for the duration of their visa in advance.
Yes. Candidates who have completed a bachelor degree in a cognate field will be granted four (4) units of advanced standing from either the core or option units of the schedule. Credit for Prior Learning, also referred to as 'Advanced Standing' or Recognition for Prior Learning (RPL), is the process of looking at your prior study and/or experience to assess if you can be awarded academic credit or gain entry to a course on the basis of your existing knowledge and skills.
