Minimum Entry Requirements (International students), 2 entry-point structure: Entry level 1 (96 points, 2 years full-time/4 years part-time) — an Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent), not necessarily in IT, with at least credit (60%) average. Entry level 2 (72 points, 1.5 years full-time/3 years part-time) — an Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline relating to information systems, or with an information systems major, with completed studies in foundational programming, databases, systems analysis and design, and an understanding of major enterprise IT applications (transactional, managerial and analytical), with at least credit (60%) average. English entry requirements (Level A): IELTS (Academic) 6.5 overall (Listening 6.0, Reading 6.0, Writing 6.0, Speaking 6.0) or PTE (Academic) 58 overall (Listening 50, Reading 50, Speaking 50, Writing 50) or TOEFL iBT 79 overall (0-120 scale: Reading 13, Listening 12, Speaking 18, Writing 21).

The course is accredited by the Australian Computer Society (ACS), providing automatic eligibility for ACS membership and its networking and professional development opportunities. Graduates gain expertise to design solutions for business information problems and offer strategic advice to organisations on management and governance, preparing them to excel in systems design, planning and management roles across the full spectrum of IT functions within business.
