Yes. The course offers fast-track options. Applicants who have completed the Graduate Certificate of Business Information Systems or an honours bachelor degree in a related discipline may complete the program in 1 year full-time. Applicants with a bachelor degree in a related discipline, a graduate certificate in a related discipline, or a bachelor degree plus two years of relevant work experience may complete the program in 1.5 years full-time.
The indicative yearly fee for international students in 2026 is AUD $36,540, with a total course fee of AUD $73,080 based on 2 years of full-time study. A Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) of AUD $373 (capped amount for 2025) is included within the annual tuition fee.
The course is accredited by AACSB, the Australian Computer Society (ACS), and the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA).
To qualify for the award of Master of Business Information Systems, students must complete 16 units of study totalling 200 credit points. There are also exit awards available: completing 2 core units entitles students to the Graduate Certificate of Business Information Systems, and completing an additional 2 core units and 2 specialisation or elective units entitles students to the Graduate Diploma (exit award only).
