Yes. Graduates of the Master of Clinical Chiropractic will meet the competencies required by the Council on Chiropractic Education Australasia (CCEA) and will therefore be eligible to apply for registration with the Chiropractic Board of Australia (CBA), allowing them to practise in all states and territories in Australia and New Zealand.
The course includes six clinical placements spread across both years of study. In Year 1, Clinical Practice 1 and 2 are four-week placements at approved Chiropractic Clinics, and Clinical Practice 3 involves shadowing final-year interns at the CQU Health Clinic. In Year 2, Clinical Practice 4 involves clinic sessions and community outreach under CQU staff supervision, while Clinical Practice 5 and 6 each include up to two shifts per week in an approved private practice alongside regular clinic shifts.
The indicative first-year fee for 2026 is $14,304 for a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) or $48,918 for a Full Fee Paying (FFP) Place. Commonwealth Supported Places are available for this course, offering significant fee savings as they are subsidised by the Australian Government.
The Master of Clinical Chiropractic is a 2-year full-time course available on campus in Brisbane. It is designed as an extended six-term Masters to maximise clinical learning. The next available intake is Term 1, 2027.
