Taking a full-time study load equivalent to four subjects per semester, you can complete the full master's qualification in just one year (3 semesters).
There are two options: if you are interested in PhD studies or a career in academia or research, you can undertake a major research project (20,000–25,000 words) including eight coursework subjects; alternatively, you can take 11 coursework subjects including three electives and work with a supervisor to complete a research paper or professional portfolio (6,000–7,000 words).

Research areas include journalism, advertising, social media, marketing, leadership, public relations, and more. Students also gain access to industry-standard audio-visual and broadcast equipment, including a full television studio.
Yes. During your studies, you will work closely with real clients and local businesses, researching, strategising, and delivering communications initiatives, as well as working with industry stakeholders to develop mainstream and new media communication strategies and campaigns.
