No. This program has been suspended from May 2026. There are no further intakes of students planned. The information on the page is being retained for students currently enrolled in the program.
The two degrees are endorsed by the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) and the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA). The Master of Project Management is also recognised internationally by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
As a stand-alone program, the Master of Communication takes one year to complete (three semesters) and the Master of Project Management takes 1 year 4 months (four semesters). As a double degree program, you can complete both qualifications in just two years (six semesters) and save on your total tuition fees for two individual degrees.
The Master of Communication program offers two sequence options: a major research project (20,000–25,000 words), which is recommended if you are interested in PhD studies or a career in academia or research; or a research paper/professional portfolio (6,000–7,000 words), where you can choose an area relevant to your current workplace or preferred career pathway.
In Year 1, the communications subjects cover specific disciplines such as public relations, social media, and advertising as well as more broad-based human communication theory and relational communication. In project management, you will dive into resource planning, finance, procurement, risk management, and dispute resolution, combined with practical industry-based subjects. In Year 2, you will be introduced to research methods and data visualisation in preparation for your dissertation or research project, which you will work on in the sixth and final semester.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
