Yes. This degree is designed for both graduates with a computing background who wish to upskill, and graduates without a computing background who wish to enter the booming field of computing.
For 2026, the session fee is $18,376 and the total indicative course fee is $55,129. These fees are subject to change from year to year; however, if you receive an offer to study at UOW, your fees will be fully confirmed at the time of your offer.
You need a recognised 3-year Bachelor degree in any area. Applicants with other qualifications and substantial relevant professional experience may also be considered. If English is not your first language, you must also meet the University's English Language Requirements, with accepted tests including IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, and Cambridge.
The Master of Computing is offered in two intakes in 2026: Autumn Session starting 2 March 2026 (with international application deadline of 9 December 2025 and domestic deadline of 31 December 2025), and Spring Session starting 27 July 2026 (with international application deadline of 5 May 2026 and domestic deadline of 31 May 2026).
Yes. The degree incorporates academic learning with practical application, with several subjects featuring embedded Work Integrated Learning. Students will also complete a capstone project where they apply theoretical knowledge in practical situations and tackle real-world problems often provided by industry partners.
