To qualify for the Master of Construction Management Practice, students must complete a total of 100 credit points. One capstone unit carries 25 credit points and all other units normally carry 12.5 credit points each. Students must complete 3 core units and 4 out of the 5 additional core units.
For 2026, the yearly international tuition fee is $40,860 AUD, with a total course fee of $47,420 AUD. Domestic students in a Commonwealth Supported Place pay a yearly fee of $9,537 AUD, with a Commonwealth Supported total fee of $47,420 AUD. A Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) of $373 AUD also applies.
No. While the Graduate Certificate of Construction Management is accepted as a qualification for entry into the Master of Construction Management Practice, it does not provide advanced standing into the degree. Students who complete it will be admitted but will need to complete the full 100 credit points of the master's program.
The Master of Construction Management Practice is offered at Swinburne's Hawthorn campus. Intake dates for international students include Semester 2 starting 03 August 2026 (last date to apply: 29 July 2026) and Semester 1 starting 01 March 2027 (last date to apply: 24 February 2027).
