Upon graduating, you will be eligible for membership with the Australian Property Institute, the Australian Institute of Building (AIB), and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), thanks to the dual professional accreditation this program holds.
The standard pathway takes 2.5 years full-time (108 UOC) and requires a bachelor degree with a credit average in a related field, a bachelor degree in any field with a credit average plus three years construction industry experience at a managerial level, or a Graduate Certificate in the relevant disciplines. The accelerated two-year pathway (84 UOC) is available to those with an undergraduate honours degree or a master's degree in a related field, and students receive Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) credit points for three subjects (24 UOC).
In your final semester of study, you'll devise and independently undertake a major research project. You'll specialise in an area of interest and build further depth and expertise in that area. Before undertaking the project, you'll complete a research seminar which will provide you with the research skills needed. Your project will relate to professional practice in project management, equipping you with real-world skills you can carry into the workplace.
For domestic students, the 2026 indicative first year full fee is $39,000 and the indicative full fee to complete the degree is $90,500. For international students, the 2026 indicative first year full fee is $49,000 and the indicative full fee to complete the degree is $116,500. Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
