Yes. The Master of Counselling offers flexible part-time options, ideal for professionals balancing work and study. Part-time students have the same curriculum and support as full-time students, can gain practical skills to apply on the job immediately, and can build experience while progressing at a manageable pace.
Applicants must have completed an undergraduate degree or equivalent, demonstrate a suitable degree of mature life experience including self-awareness and a capacity to relate to others, and complete a selection interview with a member of the Counselling staff. Applicants must also satisfy English language proficiency requirements (minimum IELTS score of 7.0 in each component) and provide a current National Police Clearance upon successful admission.
The indicative annual fee for 2026 for domestic students is $9,537, as a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP). With a CSP, the Australian Government contributes part of your tuition fees as a subsidy that does not need to be repaid. Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
