The Master of Creative Writing, Publishing and Editing takes 2 years to complete full time, or up to 4 years part time.
The course has two intake periods: March and July each year.
The program has a practical focus covering a broad spectrum of writing, publishing and editing, including digital writing and publishing, fiction and non‐fiction writing, print production, advanced editing for books and magazines, and writing for young adults.
The course is designed for those who currently work in the creative writing, editing and publishing industry, or have recently completed an undergraduate degree, and who want to build project management, research and critical thinking skills in writing, editing and publishing projects, or develop sound knowledge of the commercial impetus of the global publishing industry.
Yes, Commonwealth Supported Places (CSPs) are available for the Master of Creative Writing, Publishing and Editing, which can reduce the cost of tuition for eligible domestic students.
