The Master of Data Analytics takes 2 years full-time or 4 years part-time. International students are required to maintain a full-time study load on a campus basis.
Yes, the program offers intermediate exit awards. After completing the first four subjects, students may exit with a Graduate Certificate in Data Analytics. After completing the next four subjects, students may exit with a Graduate Diploma of Data Analytics, before continuing on to complete the full Master of Data Analytics.
Applicants must hold an Australian bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification, including an overseas qualification), or have completed a Graduate Certificate in a relevant field of study (which must include at least one study of mathematics, statistics, or quantitative analysis), or a Graduate Diploma in Data Analytics or a Graduate Diploma in a relevant field. English language requirements also apply.
Assessment methods are designed to encourage learning, provide feedback and measure achievement of unit learning outcomes. Forms of assessment vary among units and include research reports, projects, essays, group work, presentations, problem solving and case studies as well as tests, quizzes and examinations. In capstone units, assessments may include industry engagement and an extensive report.
The Master of Data Analytics is delivered on campus at Eveleigh NSW 2015, with IMC also having study locations in Sydney, Perth, and Hobart.
