Master of Data Science

The Master of Data Science is a 2-year full-time program, and is also available on a part-time basis.

The Master of Data Science is offered at Parramatta South Campus. Note that as a multi-campus institution, Western Sydney University reserves the right to alter the location of its programs between campuses and other locations as necessary.

Graduates of the Master of Data Science can pursue a broad range of exciting career opportunities including roles such as Data Analyst, Data Engineer, and Data Scientist across different sectors and industries.

The program provides a strong applications focus, covering the nature of data including Big Data and data driven investigations, as well as visual and computational analytics. You will learn how to efficiently identify trends, understand customers and predict behaviour, detect fraud, and identify credit risk. On completion, you will have completed two self-guided master projects and graduate with the confidence and skills to draw out meaningful insights with actionable metrics.

The indicative annual fee for domestic students starts from $11,885.
