UTS offers five tailored PhD pathways: Traditional PhD, Entrepreneurial PhD, Industry PhD, Impact PhD, and Global PhD. UTS offers two research sessions for commencement: Research Session 1, which commences from January, and Research Session 2, which commences from July.

UTS offers various funding options for research degrees including scholarships, stipends, and sponsorship. Prospective students can explore these through the UTS Scholarships Overview and UTS Scholarship search tool, and can also enquire about scholarship types, prerequisites, documentation/eligibility, continuing requirements, and scholarships available in specific countries.

To apply for a research degree at UTS, prospective students should review the application deadlines, prepare a research proposal, and lodge their application through the UTS website.
