Common Questions
You will complete core units in social justice and stream selective units in development studies. You will also complete a capstone experience comprising either a dissertation, a vocational placement, or an independent research project, plus elective units as needed to meet the requirements of the course.
Applications close on 31 January of the commencing year for Semester 1 entry, and 15 July of the commencing year for Semester 2 entry. Note that separate deadlines apply for scholarship applications.

The capstone experience in the Master of Social Justice (Development Studies) can be completed as either a dissertation, a vocational placement, or an independent research project.
Yes, the course is available to both domestic students (including Australian or New Zealand citizens, Australian Permanent resident visa holders, Australian Permanent humanitarian visa holders, and Pacific Engagement Visa holders) and international students who are not Australian or New Zealand citizens or permanent residents of Australia.
