The Master of Education at QUT offers a wide range of specialisations including Autism, Career and Development Counselling, Leading Early Childhood Education, Educational Leadership, Indigenous Australian Education for Teachers, Indigenous Education, Inclusive Education, Innovative Learning Design, School Guidance and Counselling, STEM in Education, Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), and Trauma-Aware Education.
Yes, QUT's Master of Education is designed with working professionals in mind. As student Tessa Hogan noted, 'I love that the Master of Education (School Guidance and Counselling) has been set up for someone that needs to work full-time and study part-time. The course takes the schedule of a working teacher into consideration and plans around that. For example, lectures happen after school hours rather than the middle of the day.'
Yes, QUT offers subsidised fees for the Master of Education. You can pay 80 per cent less on your fees, as QUT has secured more Commonwealth Supported Places for domestic postgraduate students.
The availability depends on the specialisation. Many specialisations are available both on campus and online, while some — such as Autism, Career and Development Counselling, Indigenous Education, and Innovative Learning Design — are available online only.
The Master of Education (School Guidance and Counselling) is designed for registered teachers and provides them with the knowledge, skills and required qualification to become a Guidance Officer or Guidance Counsellor in schools from Prep to Year 12.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
