Yes, this course is subsidised for Australian residents through Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP). Student contribution amounts are charged by unit, based on area of study, and are subject to annual indexation. You can use UWA's fee calculator to estimate your course fees.
UWA offers a range of degrees in Health Professions Education: Graduate Certificate (0.5 years), Graduate Diploma (1 year), Master of Health Professions Education Coursework and Dissertation (1.5 years), and Master of Health Professions Education Thesis and Coursework (2 years). Online-only versions of the Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, and Master (coursework and dissertation) are also available for international students.
You will develop the ability to plan, design, implement, assess and evaluate an educational programme; develop a strategy for further learning as a health professions educator; and develop your skills and practice as a teacher. The course advances skills in leadership, education, research and primary care to deliver the highest standard of medical and healthcare education.
Graduates who wish to continue their academic journey can pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) after completing the Master of Health Professions Education (Coursework and Dissertation).
