Graduates are required to generate a substantial contribution to knowledge in their chosen area in the form of a thesis of up to 50,000 words.
To be considered for selection, you are required to have completed a research project including a thesis which is equivalent to at least 25% of a year's full-time study at Level 8 of the Australian Qualifications Framework, with achievement of a grade for the project equivalent to a Deakin grade of 65% or equivalent. A combination of qualifications and experience may be deemed equivalent to minimum academic requirements.
You will need to demonstrate at least one of the following: a bachelor degree from a recognised English-speaking country, an IELTS overall score of 6.5 (with no band score less than 6.0) in each component of test, or other evidence of English language proficiency.
The Master of Engineering is available at Deakin's Waurn Ponds (Geelong) and Burwood (Melbourne) campuses.
