About This Course

Macquarie engineers will graduate with an internationally recognised qualification with the capability for life-long learning. They will be able to maintain and develop skills and knowledge with fast-rate-of-change technologies; and to adapt and change with changing organisation needs.

The Master of Engineering in Electronics Engineering serves as an entry to professional engineering practice. It is designed to develop a core skill-set of in-depth knowledge and skills in the area of electronic systems design and implementation as well as complementary professional and personal skills, including engineering management. It is underpinned by the attainment of disciplinary and advanced disciplinary knowledge covering electronics as well as communications systems, and includes the undertaking of a deeper project-based learning component. This Masters course provides a well-grounded postgraduate program for electronic engineers wishing to update their skills and further their knowledge to meet or maintain professional accreditation standards.

Domestic students:

A 4-year bachelor's engineering qualification in a related engineering discipline, or
A 3-year AQF level 7 bachelor's engineering technologist qualification in a related field, equivalent to the first 3 years of a Washington Accord accredited degree.

International students:

A 4-year bachelor's engineering qualification in a related engineering discipline, or
A 3-year AQF level 7 bachelor's engineering technologist qualification in a related field, equivalent to the first 3 years of a Washington Accord accredited degree.
IELTS (Academic) overall band 6.5 with minimum sub-scores: listening 6, reading 6, writing 6, speaking 6, or an approved equivalent
CRICOS-registered course - a valid student visa is required to study on campus
