Master of Engineering Management

All applicants:

Australian Bachelor's degree in any engineering fields (or equivalent)

Successful completion of an Australian four year Bachelor degree (or equivalent).

OR

Completion of the Postgraduate Qualifying Program (Business stream)

Admission may be granted to applicants without an undergraduate degree but with five or more years of relevant work experience. In making an offer to an applicant, the university may give consideration to a range of factors including English proficiency, academic record and employment experience.

Academic entry requirements

• Applicants with an Australian Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or an approved equivalent qualification may be eligible for credit for the four foundation subjects in Year 1. Applicants without an undergraduate degree but with a demonstrated minimum of at least five years relevant and cognate business experience may be eligible for credit for the four foundation subjects.

6.5 IELTS (Academic) with no individual band less than 6.0.

• Engineering project manager
  • Take a leading role in engineering projects. Plan, monitor and deliver across all elements of projects, including budgets, human resources, setting objectives and reporting.
• Senior engineering management consultant
  • Apply industry knowledge and technical expertise to solve engineering problems or improve existing processes and systems.
• Engineering development manager
  • Plan, direct and coordinate all activities related to engineering development and manage the activities of the development team.
