The Master of Engineering Management satisfies the Project Management Institute's (PMI) professional standards and is also aligned with a number of Australian and international standards, including the United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education, the Associate to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, and the Australian Qualifications Framework.
You will complete subjects on project management, engineering management, sustainable economics, and strategic resource and operations management, as well as participate in work-integrated learning through an industry placement.
To be eligible, you need an AQF level 8 bachelor degree in engineering or allied discipline; or an AQF level 7 bachelor degree in engineering or allied discipline plus at least two years of relevant work experience; or an equivalent qualification.
The estimated annual tuition fee is AUD $34,170 for a full-time study load (2026 fees, subject to change in following years), plus a Student Services and Amenities fee. Fee deferral and scholarships are available if eligible.
At JCU Brisbane, the Master of Engineering Management commences in January, May, and September each year, offering multiple intake opportunities throughout the year.
