About This Course

Course Overview UHE's TEQSA -accredited Master of Engineering Management develops advanced knowledge of engineering management through the integration of engineering, business, and management disciplines within contemporary engineering practice contexts. Graduates of the Master of Engineering Management will be able to demonstrate ethical conduct and professional accountability with relevance to engineering and engineering management. UHE's Master of Engineering Management has a strong emphasis on personal development, with the purpose that each student finds their own strengths in engineering management as part of their own career development plan. This process begins in the first subject, Professional Development for Engineering Management, where the students begin to identify their own strengths and interests, documented in their portfolio. General Requirements

> Entry Requirements Domestic: Successful completion of an Undergraduate degree from a recognized higher education institution, with a GPA of at least 2.0 out of 4.0. Some background or experience in a relevant discipline (including Engineering, Technology, or Science) would be an advantage. Applicants who have successfully completed a relevant degree with a GPA of at least 1.5 out of 4, will be considered if they have at least 5 years of relevant industry experience. It is a requirement that the bachelor's degree was completed with no more than 25 per cent of subjects failed. International: Successful completion of an Undergraduate degree from a recognized higher education institution, with a GPA of at least 2.0 out of 4.0. Some background or experience in a relevant discipline (including Engineering, Technology, or Science) would be an advantage. Applicants who have successfully completed a relevant degree with a GPA of at least 1.5 out of 4, will be considered if they have at least 5 years of relevant industry experience. Valid minimum scores include: IELTS overall score of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0, or PTE overall score of 58+ with no communicative skill below 50, or Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) 176 with no component less than 169.

As an international student at UHE, you are protected under the ESOS framework, which includes the right to a written agreement outlining services, fees and refund information, the right to receive the education you have paid for, and access to consumer protection measures such as refunds or placement in another course if UHE is unable to teach your course.

Under what circumstances can my student visa be extended if I cannot complete the Master of Engineering Management within the expected duration?

Your visa may only be extended if you experience compassionate or compelling circumstances (such as illness supported by a medical certificate), if UHE has implemented an intervention strategy because you are at risk of not meeting satisfactory course progress, or if you have been granted an approved Leave of Absence.

What do I need to do if my personal details change while I am studying at UHE?

You must advise UHE Administration of any changes to your personal details — including your address, name, phone number, personal email, or emergency contact — within seven days of the change occurring. Upon arriving in Australia, you must also provide your current address within seven days.
