Master of Finance and Business Analytics

The Master of Finance and Business Analytics is a dual qualification preparing you for advanced roles in financial services, suited to career changers and to people deepening their business knowledge.
Over two years you build a solid foundation across key business disciplines before moving into advanced specialisation. First year covers quantitative methods, economic principles, accounting concepts and methods, and principles of finance, along with equity valuation and analysis.
From there the degree develops the ability to turn data and financial records into business insights, combining financial and analytical skills that transfer across roles and industries. You become confident in analysing data to inform decision-making, and use AI algorithms and chatbots to extract valuable insights.
Teaching is by academics working in business analytics and finance.
The program totals 96 units — 30 units of core courses and 66 units of specialisation courses — over two years at the Adelaide City Campus, with February and July intakes.
