Master of Financial Mathematics

Minimum Entry Requirements (International students), 3 entry-point structure: Entry level 1 (96 points, 2 years full-time/4 years part-time) — an Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) with strong mathematical content (multivariable calculus, linear algebra, probability, statistics and differential equations) with at least 65% credit average. Entry level 2 (72 points, 1.5 years full-time/3 years part-time) — an Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) in mathematics with at least 65% credit average; OR an Australian graduate certificate/diploma (or equivalent) with strong mathematical content with at least 65% high credit average. Entry level 3 (48 points, 1 year full-time/2 years part-time) — a four-year Australian honours degree (or equivalent) in mathematics with at least 65% high credit average. English entry requirements (Level A): IELTS (Academic) 6.5 overall (Listening 6.0, Reading 6.0, Writing 6.0, Speaking 6.0) or PTE (Academic) 58 overall (Listening 50, Reading 50, Speaking 50, Writing 50) or TOEFL iBT 79 overall (0-120 scale: Reading 13, Listening 12, Speaking 18, Writing 21).
