\n\n Applicants must have a) A three year undergraduate degree in any field of study and b) Two years of full-time professional or volunteer experience in a relevant field (see list below)**. The professional experience may include experience in health or public health services acquired as part of a degree of 4 or more years duration, e.g. MBBS, MD.  \n\nOR  

\n2. Applicants must have

\na) An undergraduate degree plus honours in a relevant field of study (see list below)* or b) Postgraduate degree in a relevant field of study (see list below)*

\nOR 

\n3. In exceptional circumstances, applications will be considered for entry when they have extensive professional health or public health experience but do not hold a relevant degree qualification. A minimum of five years full-time relevant professional experience is required and an interview with the School of Population Health may be conducted. 

\n* Relevant fields of study include medicine, nursing, allied health, health sciences, biomedical sciences, dentistry, social sciences, social work, psychology, paramedicine, environmental health, health administration, policy studies, development studies.

\n** Fields of professional experience that are relevant include:

\n\nRoles in health (including allied health, medicine, nursing, oral health, public health, environmental health, psychology)\nHealth service provision or health management roles in human services (e.g., social work, community development, service navigation, case management)\nRoles that involve working specifically on health-related activities or portfolios, such as health-focused positions in emergency services, management, research, engineering, law, science, mathematics and statistics, economics, journalism, or policy.\n\nApplication Procedure 

\nFor Australian citizens, permanent residents and New Zealand citizens, applications for postgraduate coursework programs at the School of Population Health are online through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC). 

\nFor international students, applications for postgraduate coursework programs at the School of Population Health are online through UNSW Apply Online. 

\nApplications will be assessed in accordance with the UNSW Recognition of Prior Learning Policy and Procedure.
