The program can be completed in 2 years of full-time study or four years part-time, and is made up of 16 courses totalling 96 Units of Credit (UOC).
For 2026, the indicative first year full fee for international students is $60,500, with an indicative full fee to complete the degree of $126,000. For domestic students, Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP) are available, with an indicative CSP first year fee of $9,500 and an indicative CSP fee to complete the degree of $19,000. Full-fee domestic students have an indicative first year fee of $39,000 and an indicative full fee to complete the degree of $80,000. All fees are subject to annual review.
The program is made up of 16 courses total, including seven core courses (Health Promotion and Social Perspectives of Health, Global Health and Development, Infectious Diseases Challenges: Epidemiology and Control, Outbreak Investigation and Intelligence, Bioterrorism and Health Intelligence, Foundations of Epidemiology, and Foundations of Biostatistics), five elective courses, and additional electives which include a research project or research methodology course. The degree features three electives in International Health.
