Master of Green Chemistry and Sustainable Technologies

Minimum Entry Requirements (International students), 3 entry-point structure: Entry level 1 (96 points, 2 years full-time/4 years part-time) — an Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) with at least first-year Chemistry studies and at least 60% (credit) average overall. Entry level 2 (72 points, 1.5 years full-time/3 years part-time) — an Australian bachelor degree in a cognate discipline (chemistry, chemical engineering, biomedical science, materials science, biochemistry, or biotechnology) with at least 12 points second-level chemistry and 60% average. Entry level 3 (48 points, 1 year full-time/2 years part-time) — an Australian bachelor honours degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry or Biochemistry with at least 60% average. English entry requirements (Level A): IELTS (Academic) 6.5 overall (Listening 6.0, Reading 6.0, Writing 6.0, Speaking 6.0) or PTE (Academic) 58 overall (Listening 50, Reading 50, Speaking 50, Writing 50) or TOEFL iBT 79 overall (0-120 scale: Reading 13, Listening 12, Speaking 18, Writing 21).

Graduates are prepared to lead the environmental, economic and social transformation of the chemical industries of the future, with expertise in designing cleaner processes, building sustainable systems, and eliminating hazardous substances from chemical product design, manufacture and application — supporting careers in green chemistry, sustainable process engineering, environmental technology, and chemical industry sustainability leadership roles.
