However, many systems face challenges of limited resources, changing healthcare needs and rapidly advancing technology. Entry Requirements

General Requirements

A Bachelor degree from a recognised tertiary institution in a field relevant to health management, health administration, business administration of healthcare organisation, clinical governance, medical administration, human resource management for health, health information management, health financial management, public health and leadership in health policy
AND work experience equivalent to two years full-time professional or volunteer experience. Work experience may also include equivalent professional experience acquired as part of a degree of four or more years duration (e.g., MBBS, MD)
OR an undergraduate degree plus an honours or postgraduate degree in a field relevant to health administration, health leadership, health services management, health information management, business administration, public administration, public policy and public health
English language requirements: IELTS Academic with an Overall band score of 6.5, with Writing 6, Speaking 6, Reading 6, and Listening 6
Documents to submit: CV/resume clearly showing prior work experience and roles held

Yes. It is possible to exit this course with a Graduate Certificate in Health Administration or a Graduate Diploma in Health Administration once you have completed certain units.

What are the domestic tuition fees for this course?

The 2026 domestic indicative first-year fee is $27,864, based on a first-year full-time study load of 200 credit points. Fees are indicative only and will vary depending on the units you choose. Domestic fee-paying students may be eligible for FEE-HELP assistance.

Can I study this course part-time or online?

Yes. The course is two years full-time or equivalent part-time study. Students also have the option to study this course as external (online) students, and it is available both on campus at Curtin Perth and online.

When can I apply for this course and what are the intake dates?

The course is offered in Semester 1 and Semester 2 each year. For the 2026 academic year at Curtin Perth, Semester 2 2026 applications close 5 July 2026, and Semester 1 2027 applications close 28 January 2027. Applications are submitted directly to Curtin via their online applications portal.
