The Master of Health Research takes 1.5 years full-time or 3 years part-time, and requires the successful completion of 120 credit points.
The research project enables you to plan and implement a substantial research-based project in the area of health, under the supervision of an experienced researcher. Full-time students complete one 40 credit point Research Project unit (PHM840), while part-time students complete two 20 credit point repeatable Research Project units (PHM820).
The annual tuition fee for full-time international students in 2026 is AUD $34,736.00, which equates to $4,342.00 per 10 credit point unit. These fees are subject to increases annually, effective at the start of each calendar year.
Yes. Following completion of the Master of Health Research, graduates may proceed, with approval, to Higher Degree Research (PhD) training.
