Yes. A fast-track option is available. Applicants who have completed the Graduate Certificate of Business Information Systems or an honours bachelor degree in a related discipline may complete the program in 1 year of full-time study. Those with a bachelor degree in a related discipline, a graduate certificate in a related discipline, or a bachelor degree in any discipline plus two years relevant work experience may complete the program in 1.5 years of full-time study.
The course offers twelve specialisations: Accounting, Business Analytics, Digital Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Financial Technologies, Human Resource Management, International Business, Research, Project Management, Social Impact, and Supply Chain Innovation.
International applicants must demonstrate satisfactory English proficiency through an IELTS overall band of 6.5 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0, or Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 Advanced level) with an overall score of 70% and all skills at 65% or above, or equivalent measures as outlined in the English language requirements.
Yes. Credit transfer is granted in recognition of previous study and/or experience and allows students to gain advanced standing towards their course, with applicants assessed on a case-by-case basis. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is also available, allowing students to gain credit towards their course in recognition of skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience and/or formal training, also assessed on a case-by-case basis. Note that where relevant experience is used for the basis of admission, no further recognition for prior learning/credit can be granted on that basis.
The course is delivered at Swinburne's Hawthorn campus in both full-time and part-time modes. Intake is available in both Semester 1 and Semester 2.
