All students must complete a total of 160 credit points made up of 16 subjects, comprising 12 core subjects (120 credit points), 8 of which from the Graduate Diploma in Information Technology, plus a further 4 elective subjects (40 credit points) which may be drawn from any other WIN Higher Ed postgraduate program (Business or Professional Accounting).
Yes, the Master of Information Technology includes nested programs at Graduate Certificate level (one semester full time) and Graduate Diploma (two semesters full time) levels.
EduLab is a virtual cloud based computer lab that can be accessed by students from any web browser. It consists of two distinct labs: a Windows 10 lab environment with the software required for programming, database, and other subjects, and a KALI Linux environment set up for networking and security related subjects. Both labs come with 3 GB RAM and 65 GB hard disk dedicated to a single user.
International students require an IELTS Academic overall band score of 6.5, with no band lower than 6.0 (or equivalent).
The Master of Information Technology is available at both the Sydney Campus and the Canberra Campus, and is delivered face-to-face over 104 weeks.
