The Master of Information Technology (Artificial Intelligence) has four intake options per year: January, April, July, and October. ASA operates on a quarterly basis with each intake running for 8 weeks at a time.
Yes. After successful completion of all Level 400 units, students may exit with a Graduate Certificate in Information Technology (Artificial Intelligence). After successful completion of all Level 400 and Level 500 units, students may exit with a Graduate Diploma of Information Technology (Artificial Intelligence).
International applicants must meet the minimum English Language Proficiency standard of IELTS Academic 6.5 with a minimum sub score of 6 in writing, reading, speaking, and listening, or an equivalent qualification. Country-specific English exemptions are detailed in Section 8 of ASA's Student Admission Policy.
The Master of Information Technology (Artificial Intelligence) comprises fifteen (15) units of core, specialism and electives across 400, 500 and 600 levels. Students enrol on a full-time basis into two (2) units per quarter to complete the course within the required two-year duration. All units are delivered face to face on campus and students must attend classes in person.
Yes. Any student with prior learning may submit appropriate evidence and apply for Recognition of Prior Learning. ASA may award credit towards achievement of a qualification by comparing a student's current level of skills and knowledge against unit learning outcomes, and may recognise other forms of training or education deemed equivalent to AQF standards. If RPL is granted, the total number of units of study is subject to change.
