The Professional Portfolio is a 20-week Work Integrated Learning component completed in the fifth and final semester. It is designed to support learning, personal development, and professional practice. You will submit a final professional portfolio highlighting your practical and theoretical expertise in your profession of choice, and it can include an internship. It is undertaken following the completion of all coursework subjects.
Bond has strong industry connections with Australian and global tourism organisations including Marriott, Accor, IHG, Wyndham, Village Roadshow Theme Parks, and Star Entertainment, ensuring students can see real industry projects and undertake internships throughout their studies.
Students may choose elective subjects to complete a specialisation in Big Data, Finance, Health Management, International Business, or Marketing, beginning from semester three of the program.
The program has a duration of 92 weeks and is structured across five semesters, with four semesters of coursework subjects followed by a fifth semester dedicated to the 20-week Professional Portfolio component.
