You can apply directly online through the UWA Application Portal or through an authorised agent. UWA's global network of agents can help with your application, provide advice on life in Perth, and assist with obtaining a visa. An non-refundable application fee of $150 is required before your application will be processed.

You will need to prepare a copy of your academic results, a copy of your English test results, a copy of your passport, and any additional documentation required for your chosen course. Please ensure all scanned documents are clear, easy to read, and in full colour.

UWA offers a wide range of scholarships to international students, including the Global Excellence Scholarship. When you submit an application to study at UWA, you'll be automatically considered for a Global Excellence Scholarship, which is awarded to high-achieving postgraduate students from selected countries who apply for particular courses. Some scholarships may require a separate application.

For most countries, the deadline to apply for Semester 1 2026 is 19 January 2026, and for Semester 2 2026 it is 8 June 2026. Students from certain countries (including India, China, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and others listed on the page) have earlier deadlines: 29 December 2025 for Semester 1 2026 and 11 May 2026 for Semester 2 2026. Dates are subject to change without notice.

You will receive the outcome of your application via email. If successful, you'll receive an offer letter or a conditional offer letter if more steps are required. To respond, you can log in to UWA Apply or click the 'accept' button in your offer letter email. You may need to submit scans of requested documents, agree to terms and conditions, and make your first payment. Please note that all offers have an acceptance expiry date, and if you do not accept by that date your offer will lapse.
