Master of Landscape Architecture / Master of Urban Planning

The Master of Landscape Architecture combined with the Master of Urban Planning (MC-LARCHUP) positions students to be industry ready with flexibility within the employment market, expressing creativity while channelling social and environmental conscience to improve cities and urban spaces. This multidisciplinary approach realises synergies between disciplines, broadening the skillset and providing a relevant understanding of the built environment profession. The program provides skills to design ecologically sound and contemporary landscapes, an understanding of Australian and international policy and planning affecting human settlements, and the ability to adapt to global changes impacting cities including climate change, deepening inequality, community health and safety, and the emergence of city-regions. By combining both degrees, students complete two professionally accredited graduate programs in a reduced timeframe.
