Yes, the Master of Management is open to students from all backgrounds. There is also a 1.5-year option available for those who already have prior business study.
Students can complete an internship supported by an industry and an academic mentor, or take a consulting subject where they work on a live project over 10 days with a real company. These opportunities are available in Melbourne, Paris, Kuala Lumpur, or London.
Students can expand their horizons with electives across a range of business disciplines including entrepreneurship, international business, operations, sustainability, and supply chain management.
Students at Melbourne Business School can access the Careers Skills Development Program, which includes services like the Career Mentoring Program and workshops on skills such as effective networking and writing a great CV. Students can also join faculty clubs, participate in case competitions, and enter startup pitch competitions.
The Master of Management takes 2 years full time or 4 years part time. A 1.5-year option is also available for students with prior business study. Intakes are available in March and July.
