About This Course

This program is suspended from Quarter 3, 2026, no new students will be admitted from this session. The Master of Management offers you the chance to study contemporary management theory and practice in a global and Australian context. Following a program of integrated study, You will learn strategic analysis and examine strategic options to assess how individuals, systems and procedures can effectively operate in various organisations and settings. Throughout the program you will critically examine and analyse current management techniques and strategies to develop effective leadership and outcomes. This is a self-directed course encouraging you to take responsibility for your learning and to engage with the wider community, business and government. Offered as a Masters Degree qualification of 80 credit points, it is normally completed in 1 year full-time and 2 years part-time. This program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). It is administered within Western Sydney University's Business academic area. Subjects include Governance, Ethics and Social Entrepreneurship, Innovation Through Digital Technology, Business, Society and the Environment, Innovation, Creativity and Foresight and Compliance Management.

Entry Requirements

General Requirements

Tertiary Education: Applicants must have successfully completed a graduate certificate, or higher, in a business discipline; Or Successfully completed an undergraduate degree in a Business discipline (specifically management, operations management, entrepreneurship, managing the environment, business analytics, compliance management, leadership, strategic business management, organisational development or related discipline) with a GPA of 5.0 or WAM (Weighted Average Mark) of 65+ (if provided on the academic record); Or Successfully completed an undergraduate degree, or higher, in any discipline and a minimum of two years full-time equivalent senior managerial work experience in roles determining or facilitating an organisation’s goals or strategies, resource management and business control, directing a part of a business, managing the environment, developing resources across organisation units and divisions, or in related roles; Or Successfully completed an undergraduate degree, or higher, in any discipline and a minimum of five years management work experience in unit and project management and supervision, managing stakeholders or in related roles.
