The Master of Maritime Policy is designed to meet the early or mid-career education requirements of maritime professionals working in a policy or operational context, or those who intend to pursue a career in a maritime or related field.
Yes. International students located offshore are able to enrol and study this course online, although some electives under the distance delivery option will require on campus attendance.
The indicative full-fee paying place for domestic students at Innovation Campus is $12,890 per session and $25,781 for the full course (2026). In 2026, domestic students may be eligible for either a Commonwealth supported place (CSP) or a UOW-subsidised fee reduction of up to 75% off the listed fees.
You need either a recognised Bachelor Honours degree with an equivalent average mark of 50%, or a recognised bachelor's degree plus a Graduate Certificate in a relevant area with an equivalent average mark of 50%, or a recognised bachelor's degree with an equivalent average mark of 50% combined with appropriate professional experience such as several years of employment in a maritime-related field (e.g., naval officers, public servants, or enforcement personnel), supported by a statement of service or an employment reference.
