Yes. Most domestic research students are eligible to have all Higher Degree by Research (HDR) course fees paid for by the Commonwealth Government through a Research Training Program (RTP) Fees Offset Scholarship. For international students, the University offers the Commonwealth Government Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships (Fees Offset and/or Stipend), or the University International Fee Remission Research Scholarship (IFRRS), which are very competitive and awarded to students of exceptional research potential.
To be admitted to the program, applicants must possess a medical degree from a recognised university, demonstrate potential to undertake and complete a research-based study, be currently engaged in clinical or professional practice, and satisfy the Dean of the School of their ability to understand and communicate in both written and spoken English at a level adequate for the purpose of pursuing the program of study.
The program can be completed in 1.5 years (18 months) of full-time study, or the equivalent part-time. It is available for commencement in both Semester 1 and Semester 2.
At The University of Notre Dame Australia, every research student is guided and advised by a member of staff who is a leader in their field. Your research supervisor will assist you in preparing your research proposal and will continue to mentor and guide your work until the completion of the degree.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
