Domestic students enrolled in this Higher Degree by Research program won't be required to pay tuition fees, as the Australian Government provides tuition fee offsets under the Research Training Program (RTP) for up to 2 years full-time (or equivalent). Note that the RTP covers tuition fees only, and other non-tuition fees such as the Student Services and Amenities Fee still apply. For international students, the estimated 1st year indicative fee is AUD $42,550.
All applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency as specified in the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) English language skills registration standard. This includes IELTS Academic with a minimum overall score of 7.0 and a minimum score of 7.0 in listening, reading, and speaking, and a minimum score of 6.5 in writing. Alternatively, Pearson English Test (PTE) Academic, Occupational English Test (OET), TOEFL iBT for Australia, or Cambridge C1 Advanced or Cambridge C2 Proficiency are also accepted.

All applicants are required to have demonstrated engagement in midwifery practice and have a relevant undergraduate degree, with equivalents considered. Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
