Applications open on 15 March. There are three rounds: Round 1 closes Sunday 7 June 2026 at 11:59pm AEST, Round 2 closes Sunday 11 October 2026 at 11:59pm AEDT, and Round 3 closes Sunday 6 December 2026 at 11:59pm AEDT. The University strongly encourages applicants to apply as early as possible, as the course has limited places and may close early if capacity is reached.
Yes, the Master of Nursing is accredited by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC). Upon completion, graduates will be prepared for professional practice as a registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
You must submit an English language declaration form and meet one of three criteria: (1) demonstrate that English is your primary language with at least six years of primary and secondary education taught solely in English in a recognised country; (2) if your English test was taken on or after 23 April 2026, achieve at least IELTS 7 overall and 7 in each band, PTE Academic 72 overall (with 76 for speaking), or TOEFL iBT 96 total with specified minimums; or (3) if your test was taken on or before 22 April 2026, achieve equivalent scores under the previous AHPRA requirements. All tests must be completed within two years of your course commencement date.
You will complete professional experience placement in private and public facilities, including speciality areas such as mental health, community health, and high acuity settings.
Yes, domestic students may be eligible for the NSW Health Tertiary Health Study Subsidy Program. Additionally, separate scholarship opportunities are available with their own application deadlines, and prospective students are encouraged to view the scholarship closing dates on the University's website.
