Yes, you need to have completed an undergraduate degree in the last ten years to be eligible. The program allows you to leverage your undergraduate degree to become a Registered Nurse in just two years.
Graduates of the Master of Nursing Practice (Preregistration) are eligible to apply for registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
The program is available at two campuses: Parramatta South (UAC 950489) and Hawkesbury (UAC 950488).
Students will put theory into action at Western's on-campus simulated clinical practice subjects and will also undertake professional experience placements in a range of health facilities and community settings.
The next intake for the Master of Nursing Practice (Preregistration) starts on 04 January 2027.
